Description
This circular commemorative medal pendant is struck in white metal and depicts Joan of Arc. The piece was produced to celebrate her beatification by the Catholic Church in 1909. The obverse features a bas-relief profile portrait of the figure facing left, dressed in plate armor with a high-collared chainmail gorget and holding a palm frond. The background is finished with a textured matte effect. The upper border is inscribed BIENHEUREUSE JEANNE D’ARC. The lower edge displays the dates 1412, 1431, and 1909. Small raised characters A.P.CH are located behind the central figure’s head, likely denoting the medalist. The pendant is fitted with an open circular wire bail.

Condition report:
The pendant is in good antique condition with a natural dark patina and tarnish throughout. There are minor surface scratches and visible softening of the relief on the higher points due to age and wear. The bail is intact but exhibits slight deformation. No chain is included.
