Lot 55:
Description
An assortment of ceramic jewelry and decorative objects featuring predominantly floral and botanical motifs. The collection includes several three-dimensional molded and hand-painted brooches depicting roses, pansies, and carnations, in the style of English makers such as Aynsley and Crown Staffordshire. Also present are oval-shaped flat ceramic pendants and brooches with painted botanical designs set in gold-tone metal bezels, including a piece resembling the Aynsley Orchard Gold pattern and others in the style of Russian enamel work. The group further contains a necklace and a hinged bangle constructed from cylindrical ceramic beads with blue-and-white patterned designs and gold-tone metal spacers. A small, hand-painted ceramic figurine of a dog with brown spots is also included. All items are crafted from ceramic with yellow-metal findings. No hallmarks, purity stamps, or maker’s marks are clearly visible in the provided view.
Condition report:
The collection is in good vintage condition with minor surface wear consistent with age. There is light tarnishing and finish loss to the gold-tone metal findings and spacers. The ceramic components appear generally intact, though minor abrasions or small chips to the delicate edges of the molded flower petals may be present upon close inspection.
