Description
This collection of silver jewelry is presented with a green velvet-lined jeweler box. The interior lid of the box is marked ABDULLA JEWELLERS / AJ / NO. 111, / CHATHAM STREET, / COLOMBO – 1 / TEL 327388. The assortment includes a silver ring prong-set with a single clear round-cut stone that appears to be a synthetic or glass stimulant. A wide silver ring features cast floral and scrollwork motifs. The collection contains a silver square-link bracelet with two bezel-set coin-style pendants; the larger pendant depicts King George V with the inscription GEORGIVS V BRITT OMN REX within a rope-twist border, and the smaller pendant features a profile portrait in a scalloped filigree frame. Also present is a fine-link silver necklace with a heart-shaped pendant and a rectangular silver brooch with a hammered-texture base, bezel-set with multiple red, green, and blue round-cut stones that appear to be glass or paste.
