Description
This lot consists of two silver jewelry items. The first is a double-boss bar brooch designed in the Etruscan Revival style. The piece features two interconnected circular medallions, each decorated with concentric granulated borders, a central raised boss, and etched floral and star motifs. The second item is a silver pin featuring a stylized feather or quill motif. The design includes textured barbs on one side that transition into a smooth, tapered stem. No maker marks, hallmarks, or purity stamps are visible on the front surfaces of either item.
Condition report:
Both items show signs of age-appropriate wear. The double-boss brooch exhibits heavy tarnish and a dark patina within the recessed decorative elements, and the silver surface shows a yellowed tone. The feather pin is in good condition with minor surface scratches and light tarnish consistent with use.
