Description
An assortment of costume jewellery featuring various styles from the mid-20th century to the present. The collection includes necklaces, bracelets, and a silver-tone wristwatch. Materials observed include white and cream faux pearls, faceted glass and plastic beads in red, purple, and green, and base metal components in gold-tone and silver-tone finishes. Other elements include moulded resin, natural shell, rhinestones, and enamel work. The jewellery is housed in a rectangular light-coloured wooden box with a hinged lid. The front of the box is decorated with a polychrome floral and scrollwork motif in red, green, and blue.
