Description
This lot features a vintage Indian carving set consisting of a knife and fork housed in a shared scabbard. The set is constructed from carved hardwood, likely Sheesham, with brass fittings. The handles and scabbard are decorated with hand-carved floral and foliate motifs. A brass plate on the scabbard is marked INDIA. The scabbard is supported by four cast brass feet. Also included is a barrel-shaped hardwood jar with deep foliate carving and a matching lidded top with a turned finial. The third item is a circular brass bowl with a wide rim featuring embossed repeating geometric and circular patterns.

The items are in good vintage condition. The wood displays a natural patina and minor surface scuffs consistent with age. The brass components show natural oxidation and tarnish. No significant damage or repairs are noted.
