Description
This lot comprises an assortment of mid-to-late 20th-century costume jewelry housed in a rectangular jewelry box. The box features a cream-colored textured fabric exterior with a red velvet-lined interior, gold-tone metal hinges, and a front latch, in the style of Mele. The jewelry collection includes various beaded strands with teal spherical beads, faceted translucent red glass or plastic beads, dark grey faux pearls, and striped black-and-white beads. Metalwork consists of gold-tone and silver-tone base metal pieces, including textured and rope-design bangles, various link chains, and a red fabric cord element. One notable gold-tone decorative piece features a rectangular panel with pave-set clear rhinestones. No maker’s marks are visible on the individual pieces.
