Description
This vintage fringe necklace is crafted from silver 925 and features a series of marquise-cut red gemstones and round white pearls. The design is executed in an Edwardian style, featuring a central bib arrangement of bezel-set stones. The necklace contains nine marquise-cut garnets, with four stones integrated into the primary structure and five suspended as dangling drops. Four round white pearls are interspersed between the garnet settings. The piece is suspended from a fine curb-link chain and is secured with a spring ring clasp. An integrated extender section allows for adjustable length. A small metal tag near the clasp is hallmarked with the characters S925.
Condition report:
The necklace is in good condition. There is visible surface oxidation and tarnish throughout the silver settings and chain, consistent with the age of the piece. All gemstones and pearls appear to be present and securely set within their bezels. The clasp and extender chain are functional.
