Description
A collection of five oval cameo-style brooches featuring classical profile portraits of women in various styles and settings. The assortment includes a reddish-brown cameo with a white relief in a gold-toned beaded frame, a honey-coloured translucent cameo with cream relief and floral motifs in a scalloped gold-toned frame, and a dark brown cameo with cream relief in an ornate gold-toned filigree frame. Also included is a blue-grey cameo with cream relief in a simple gold-toned bezel and a black and white cameo in a silver-toned openwork filigree frame. The cameos are likely constructed from moulded resin or carved shell.
Condition report:
All five brooches appear to be in good condition. There are no visible cracks, chips, or losses to the cameo reliefs or the metal settings. Light surface wear is present as expected with age and use.
