Description
A collection of costume jewellery brooches featuring a variety of motifs including cameos, figural designs, geometric shapes, and floral patterns. The pieces are constructed from gold-tone and silver-tone base metals. Decorative elements include faceted red glass and synthetic stones, faux pearls, black enamel, and moulded or carved composite materials for the cameo portraits. Notable designs include a sunburst frame with a hexagonal-cut center stone, an S-shaped textured serpent, a lozenge-shaped filigree pin with multi-coloured stones, and several cameos in ornate filigree or beaded settings. The items are in good vintage condition with surface wear and tarnishing consistent with age and use. One small stone is missing from the small circular wreath brooch. One faux pearl appears to be missing from the larger wreath brooch.
