Description
A pair of cast metal duck figurines featuring a yellowish, brass-toned finish. The lot consists of two distinct avian forms: one duck is modeled in an upright position with an extended neck and upturned head, while the second is rendered in a horizontal, forward-leaning pose. Both figures display molded surface texturing intended to simulate plumage. A prominent vertical casting seam is visible on the chest of the upright figure, indicating a two-part mold construction. No maker’s marks, hallmarks, or signatures are visible on the exterior of the pieces.
Condition report:
Both figurines show signs of natural aging and atmospheric exposure. There is visible tarnish and dark spotting across the metal surfaces. Minor verdigris oxidation is present, primarily located around the feet and base areas. No significant dents or structural repairs are noted.
