Description

A collection of twenty assorted costume jewelry brooches featuring a diverse range of styles, materials, and motifs. The assembly includes pieces constructed from base metals with gold-tone, silver-tone, and copper-tone finishes. Decorative elements consist of faux pearls, faceted glass rhinestones in various cuts, molded resin, dichroic glass, ceramic, and enamel.

The collection features several rhinestone-heavy designs, including a starburst brooch with baguette and round-cut stones, a pavé-set curved hook brooch with a teardrop faux pearl dangle, a fully encrusted rhombus-shaped pin, and an elongated branch-motif brooch. Pearl-centric pieces include a large round cluster brooch with an antiqued finish and an openwork floral starburst design.

Pictorial and botanical motifs are represented by three ceramic or enamel disks depicting a pink rose and rural cottage landscapes, a 3D molded resin floral bouquet, and a metallic-finished dimensional rose. Modernist and abstract designs include a square dichroic glass brooch with iridescent patterns, a teardrop-shaped brooch with a textured gold and black center, and an openwork gold-tone brooch set with assorted purple, pink, and amber-colored cabochons. Additional pieces include a silver-tone filigree brooch with a translucent light blue-green cabochon, a heart-shaped brooch with a pale blue faceted glass stone, a butterfly-style brooch with magenta glass accents, and a stamped circular mandala-style pin. No maker marks, signatures, or hallmarks are visible on the front of the items.

Condition report:

The collection is in good overall condition. Minor surface wear, light scratches, and patina consistent with age are present on several pieces. No missing stones or significant structural damage are visible from the primary orientation. Pin mechanisms have not been tested for functionality.
