Description
This mid-20th-century decorative sculpture depicts a rearing horse in a stylized manner, featuring a notched mane and molded harness-like straps reminiscent of carousel figures. The work is composed of cast metal, likely brass, with a polished copper-toned finish and is mounted on a rectangular, light-colored veined stone plinth. The design and construction are consistent with vintage decorative items produced in Italy during the 1950s. No signatures, foundry marks, or edition numbers are visible on the exterior surfaces.
