Description
This collection consists of various silver-colored metal tableware and commemorative objects. The group includes a large lidded tankard featuring a hinged domed lid with a thumbpiece and an ornate scrolled handle, decorated with cast foliate borders around the lid and base. The construction and finish of the tankard are consistent with pewter ware. A silver-colored goblet features a gold-washed interior and a bell-shaped bowl on a turned pedestal base, engraved with the inscription PRESENTED TO BY THE MEMBERS …CLUB. A small two-handled trophy cup on a pedestal base is engraved with the characters W.G.A. and Floral. The collection further includes a pair of matching ladles with deep circular bowls and simple curved handles, a pair of sugar tongs with decorative terminals, a small creamer with a pouring spout and C-scroll handle, a cylindrical mug with a C-scroll handle, and a tiered metal frame featuring three circular rings likely intended for a condiment set. No hallmarks or maker marks are visible on the exterior surfaces.
