Description
A three piece silver plate condiment set in the Georgian style, attributed to Ian Heath Ltd (Ianthe). This vintage French style set consists of a caster, an open salt cellar with a cobalt blue glass liner, and a lidded mustard pot. Each piece features a rounded body supported by three cabriole legs with shell-motif shoulders. The caster has a domed, pierced top. The mustard pot includes a hinged lid with a thumbpiece and a notched rim to accommodate its spoon. The set includes two spoons. No hallmarks or maker marks are visible on the exterior surfaces.
Condition report:
The set shows overall tarnish and light surface wear consistent with age and use. The silver plate finish exhibits minor oxidation and scuffing. The cobalt blue glass liner appears to be in good condition without visible chips or cracks.
