Description
This limited-edition mantel clock is produced by The Bradford Exchange as part of the Garden Whispers Heirloom Porcelain collection. The case is crafted from hard-fire glazed porcelain and features artwork by Larry Martin depicting hummingbirds and floral motifs including wisteria and cherry blossoms. The artist signature Larry K. Martin is printed on the lower left of the front artwork. The clock features a white circular dial with black Arabic numerals, a dotted minute track, and gold-toned hour, minute, and second hands. The porcelain body is embellished with gold-toned metallic trim and scrolled accents. The reverse of the clock contains a detailed printed attribution stating the item was restricted to a maximum of 95 firing days and includes the handwritten issue number B 7439. The back also bears the Collectibles Market First logo and a copyright date of 2001. The clock utilizes a quartz movement.
Condition report:
The porcelain case and glazed finish appear well-preserved with no visible chips, cracks, or crazing. The gold-toned accents remain bright. The quartz movement is currently untested and requires a battery for operation.
